Pancake Supper 20th February Some 46 people sat down on Shrove Tuesday in the splendour of the Assembly Room in the Town Hall, King's Lynn, to enjoy a supper of jacket potatoes and fillings, with traditional pancakes to follow. As usual, the Flying Chef came up trumps and everyone tucked in with gusto. The Mayor, Ann Clery-Fox, and her consort, Sylvia Calver attended, as did six people from Swaffham Twinning Association and a similar number from Fakenham. It was particularly good to have the opportunity to exchange ideas and compare experiences of twinning with representatives from other associations in such a congenial setting. The Mayor and King's Lynn/Emmerich Twinning Club chairman, John Harris, each took turn at tossing pancakes, captured in the picture by Mike Humphrey below.
